Worship LIVE

Greetings Beloved:

We are releasing the Pause to Re-entry!! Beginning tomorrow, January 16, 2022, at 9:15 am we will be worshiping in person for the first time this year. It will also be our "First Service of Healing and Anointing for Families" in 2022. Do you or your family stand in the need of a "Supernatural Healing Miracle?" Then join us virtually or in-person tomorrow at 9:15 am!

Please note, registration is NOT necessary since tracking and tracing is no longer a standard. However, in order to ensure a safe and secure worship environment for everyone, all other safety protocols as recommended by our scientists and health professionals will be observed. In addition, tomorrow we will be testing in our Narthex from 9 am to 12!

As a people of faith and hope, God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (II Tim. 1:7) Therefore, we will NOT take flight from the Omicron Variant but fight with the tools and wisdom God has provided: Vaccinations, Boosters, Testing, Social Distancing, Sanitizers, Approved Medical Mask, Washing Our Hands, and just good ole fashion common sense.

God bless you and your family as we celebrate our first "Family Healing and Anointing Service" of 2022!!

Pastor and Rev. Jefferson

Welcome Back

We are excited that we will be gathering together again at Metropolitan Baptist Church for the 9:15 AM service ONLY!

While we're excited to worship with you on-campus, we'll also continue to worship together through our Metro Live Stream for all services at  7:15 AM, 9:15 AM, and 11:15 AM. Our live stream is a great alternative for you if you're out of town, high risk, or being cautious, you can continue to join us in worship on www.mbcnewarknj.org, Youtube Live, or Facebook Live.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT METRO

  • Service will be limited to a minimal Sunday Worship.
  • There will be sanitizing stations located throughout the corridors of the church and our staff will be implementing several guidelines as outlined by the state/local government and health officials.

  • The sanctuary will be marked off to allow for proper social distancing.
  • There will be no meet & greet time during the service.
  • The ushers will dismiss by section and you will need to exit the building completely.
  • Offering will be collected in plates in the back of the sanctuary after services. Also consider giving online at https://www.mbcnewarknj.org/giving

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • Arrive on campus no sooner than 10-15 minutes before the service you are attending begins unless you are essential staff and/or a volunteer participating in worship service.

  • Please respect the personal boundaries of fellow congregants as they participate in worship.
  • If you are feeling sick or are a member of a vulnerable population, we ask that you remain at home and continue to connect with us online.
