At Metropolitan Baptist Church, we just don’t have a
Worship Service, we have a Worship Experience! Reverence to God is
woven through the Praise and Worship period; the angelic sounds of
contemporary and traditional music; the praise moves of our Liturgical
Dancers and Flags of Praise; as well as the tranquil time when we
worship our Lord and Savior. Metropolitan Baptist Church embodies an
atmosphere of coming together on one accord.

Rooted in Biblical Teaching and Preaching
Metropolitan is a church that is rooted in biblical teaching and
preaching. Rev. Dr. David Jefferson, Sr., Pastor shares the message of
God with a sense of compassion, concern and commitment of connecting
believers and non-believers to Jesus Christ. Pastor Jefferson uses an
expository preaching style, along with critical points captured on
screen to share the message in an authentic way that is relevant, real
and that reaches the hearts of people. His messages are complemented
with ministering through music by one of the many choirs that lift
their voices to share their experiences in Jesus Christ.
Meet and Greet with Leadership
We are truly blessed to have a Pastor and Rev. Lady Jefferson who
are God-fearing, approachable and readily eager and willing to connect
with members and guests alike. After every service, guests are invited
to the Hospitality Suite where they can meet with key staff members and
learn more about Metropolitan.

Early Morning Worship Service blends traditional and
contemporary praise and worship songs along with inspired preaching.
All combined to create a service that is splendidly majestic, warm and
personal, and always meaningful.
Contemporary at 9:15 AM

Mid-Morning Contemporary Worship Service - worship continues with
the same inspired preaching from our pastor to make this worship
service experience that is warm, inspirational and exciting for all
ages.
Young People Focused at 11:15 AM
(Currently Online Only!)
Every Sunday morning at 11:15 AM join us online experience praise and
worship led by the praise team. This worship service is designed
specifically for the young hearts, young minds and young souls,
although all of God’s children are welcome all time. Young People
Focused Worship Service has a message for youth and their parents.
Mid-Week Worship Opportunities
Noon Day Prayer (Currently Paused)
Every Wednesday at 11:45 a.m,. in the Chapel, many of our seasoned
saints come to worship God through powerful prayer, uplifting songsand
meditation on God's Word.
Inspired Family Life Bible Study
Starting at 7:00 PM ET, every Wednesday, bring your family to
Metro's mid-week bible study and worship experience ONLINE only. Each week,
Pastor Jefferson & Rev. Jefferson open up the Word of God for your understanding and
revelation. While you take the time to delve deeper into the Word of
God.
Inspired Family Life Youth Academy (Currently Paused)
Starting at 6:45, every Wednesday, young people are invited to
participate in the Young People's Bible Academy; where they will talk
about solving daily issues through the Word of God.
