Hospitality Ministry

First Lady Linda Jefferson, Ministry Leader

The Hospitality Ministry offers the wonderful Southern charm of a joyful greeting to everyone who walks through the doors of Metropolitan. You can always count on their warm smiles, hugs, and the abundance of information that are given out at the Hospitality suite to all of our visitors.

Visitors are invited to go to the Suite after service so that we can personally greet you.

What Do We Do?

Other members of the ministry can be seen during service collecting special prayer requests, address change information and other pertinent information necessary to assist members in communicating life changing events and activities.

Truly a group that exemplifies service, they stand as a model of kindness and efficiency for all of our ministries

The Metropolitan Baptist Church Ushers' Ministry shares in the uplifting of the Kingdom of God and the making of disciples by acting as hosts and ambassadors for God, promoting reverence, and maintaining order during the worship service.

What Do We Do?

To serve as a chosen representative of the church and minister with love to all that come within the doors of the church. We will maintain an atmosphere of reverence and order within the sanctuary so that the Holy Spirit can be manifested. We are to set the tone for visitors and families alike as the greet and seat them. Ushers serve with a smile.
