Christian Counseling

Life’s challenges sometimes seem impossible to overcome. Metropolitan offers support groups and one-on-one counseling by referral only. MBC does not employ professional counselors; staff members are available to offer assistance from the Word of God. MBC counseling is not designed to treat severe mental illness and should not be substituted for professional therapy or counseling. MBC counseling does not perform psychiatric evaluations or prescribe medicine.

However, we believe the best counsel is available when attending regular church services and listening to the teaching of God’s Word. Classes are available to strengthen marriages, instruct parents and assist in recovery after divorce or the loss of a loved one. Numerous books and teaching pages are also available in the MBC Bookstore at church and online.
