Prayer = A Conversation With God
"Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom
come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day
our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is
the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen." Matthew 6:9-13
A prayer is communication with God. Jesus taught us the model prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.
Listen and Be Open for God's Response
Use the model as an opening and then pour out your heart to God.
Start with reverance and thanksgiving, ask for forgiveness and forgive
others. Then listen and be open for God's response.
Start A Prayer Journal and Prayer with a Friend
Write in it everyday, things you are
thankful for, people to pray for, blessings that you wish for others.
Keep track of what you are praying for and then when your prayers are
answered.
Pray with a friend - start a prayer circle; if the circle gets large enough use freeconferencecall.com. the more the merrier.
Use P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens)
