The Enrollment Ministry’s focused mission is to provide love, compassion and support along with instruction, which will assist each new member in their walk with the Lord. During Orientation, members are given a New Members Packet which entails our Pastor Jefferson’s welcome letter along with Metro’s mission, vision, core values, baptism, tithing, Deacon contact information, etc. New members are then informed regarding New Discipleship classes and provided the opportunity to enroll as their class will begin the following Sunday.

Discipleship helps believers grow in wisdom, maturity and also builds their faith on a strong foundation so they can disciple others towards Christ. Discipleship ensures thorough teaching of the word of God so that believers do not fall through the cracks, becoming complacent and without purpose. Christians are not meant to stay stagnant in the body of Christ but rather; they are to be active, working together, operating in sound doctrine and in their individual gifting. We see the model laid out in the Bible, beginning with Jesus, which is to train believers who are dedicated to Him, and as a result, they will go and make disciples as they step into the calling that God has given.

NEW DISCIPLESHIP YOUTH CLASSES
The Word of God is taught on the student level so they can understand the fundamentals of Salvation and grow in their Christian experience as they learn and exemplify what has been taught. The mission is to teach the Word through lively games, science projects, creative arts/crafts, drama and activities for thoughtful reflection, imaginative ways to relive the story so the student can retain what they learned and share with others.
